Le président ukrainien Volodymyr Zelenskyj a fait ses adieux à une classe de jeunes officiers qui avaient terminé leur formation pour la guerre. À l’occasion de l’anniversaire de l’invasion de l’Ukraine par la Russie, l’Assemblée générale des Nations unies doit adopter jeudi une résolution appelant à la paix et au retrait de Moscou. Le président russe Vladimir Poutine a déclenché la guerre le 24 février 2022.
L’Assemblée générale de l’ONU vote une résolution sur l’Ukraine
Avant de partir pour la session de l’Assemblée générale des Nations unies, la ministre des Affaires étrangères Annalena Baerbock a fait campagne jeudi pour l’approbation de la résolution des Nations unies pour la fin de la guerre d’agression russe, qui a été déposée par plus de 50 pays. “Le plan de paix est sur la table à New York, c’est la charte des Nations unies”, a déclaré l’homme politique écologiste. Baerbock veut prononcer un discours devant l’Assemblée générale à New York en fin d’après-midi, heure allemande. Le vote sur la résolution est prévu en fin de soirée (CET) après des dizaines de discours d’orateurs de haut niveau.

“Au cours de l’année écoulée, non seulement nous avons vu augmenter la souffrance et la dévastation, mais il devient de plus en plus clair à quel point les choses pourraient empirer”, a déclaré António Guterres à l’ouverture de la session extraordinaire de l’Assemblée générale des Nations unies pour marquer l’anniversaire du début de la guerre. Les conséquences possibles d’une spirale conflictuelle sont un danger clair et présent. « Depuis, nous avons entendu des menaces implicites d’utiliser des armes nucléaires. L’utilisation soi-disant tactique des armes nucléaires est absolument inacceptable. » Il est grand temps de sortir du gouffre.
António Guterres a dénoncé les actions de Moscou comme une “attaque contre notre conscience collective”. “Le premier anniversaire de l’invasion russe de l’Ukraine représente une étape sombre – pour le peuple ukrainien et pour la communauté internationale”, a-t-il déclaré. “Cette invasion est une attaque contre notre conscience collective.”

Selenskyj verabschiedet Absolventen von Militärakademien in den Krieg
Selenskyj verabschiedete am Mittwoch die Absolventen der Militärakademien in Lwiw und Odessa in den Krieg. „Dies ist eine besondere Mission – jetzt eine militärische Ausbildung zu erhalten und zu wissen, dass diese Ausbildung morgen direkt auf dem Schlachtfeld benötigt wird, um den Staat zu verteidigen und Soldaten und Einheiten zu führen“, sagte Selenskyj in seiner allabendlichen Videoansprache.
