Le nouveau semoir de semis simplifié Solitair DT de Lemken : des caractéristiques et fonctionnalités inédites

Proposed for a year from 4 to 6 meters, the simplified sowing drill Solitair DT from Lemken is now available in 9 meters. It can apply up to three products simultaneously.

The device takes on the characteristics of the models already on the market. Namely, soil preparation is ensured by two rows of concave disks 465 mm on spring-mounted blade. A roller with large offset tires then provides superficial pressure. If the rows of sowing need to be pressed in a targeted manner, a trapezoidal-shaped packer roller can be used in front of the sowing bar. Four distribution heads are positioned above the sowing bar, each being supplied by a dosing unit. For row spacing of 12.5 or 16.7 centimeters, the double disc Optidisc coulters mounted on parallelogram can support up to 70 kilograms of burial pressure, depending on the model.

The hopper of the nine-meter wide Solitair DT has a capacity of 5,100 liters. Added to this are the 500 liters of the MultiHub, the third hopper recently introduced to the Lemken catalog. This is fully integrated into the tool’s user interface as an additional combined and presents the same section width as the combine. This opens up many possible uses. For example, the Solitair DT can position fertilizer and seeds in a common sowing row in a single pass (Single shot). When equipped with separate fertilizer coulters, the fertilizer or seeds are placed under the sowing horizon. The switch to this two-step process (Double shot) is easy with a seed flow reverser. Thanks to the integrated MultiHub (read the complete article), each positioning element can be supplemented by another component.

Benefiting from a 40 km/h approval, the Solitair DT can operate throughout Europe respecting a width of 3 meters and a height of 4 meters. The self-supporting central wheels have a slight hydraulic pre-tensioning.

The new iQblue Go application offers maximum ease of use. The calibration test of the Solitair DT can thus be carried out on a smartphone. It also allows the configuration of the milestone tracks and completes the display system on the terminal.
