Similar to the wireless version 2582N, but with a cable, the Bissell Crosswave promises to vacuum and clean floors in the same motion thanks to its mop roller and two tanks, one for dirty water.
The Bissell Crosswave is plugged into the mains, but remains identical to the wireless model 2582N that we tested in detail. We therefore find a rather heavy and imposing device that suffers mainly from its lack of versatility as it is almost exclusively intended for the maintenance of hard floors. In addition, its fine dust filtration leaves much to be desired, a real weak point for a vacuum cleaner, a function it nevertheless fulfills. Fortunately, even if it leaves a little too much moisture for our liking after its passage, it is rather comfortable to clean floors with its large mop. Good point, its double reservoir system allows you to not wash surfaces with dirty water, a real plus.

An alternative
The Vileda Looper is not a floor cleaner like the others. The user must be proactive and spray the water on the floor himself. The electric mop has only one speed and one tank of water (clean). Despite these basic features, the Looper has proven itself by managing to clean the floor of our laboratory properly. Its ease of use and low noise level make it definitely an everyday appliance.
