From April 12 to 14, the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries (AGAC) will unveil the seven alternative and/or emerging galleries that will participate in the Espaces Pavillon section of the next edition of the Plural fair! Each gallery will present the work of one or two talented artists. This is your chance to support and celebrate the mission of Plural, which is the plurality of voices and works of contemporary art in Canada.
You will be able to discover the work of artists from Collection Art Volt (Montreal), Artroduction (Quebec), Atelier-Galerie A. Piroir (Montreal), OTA Studios (Halifax), Plataforma, Artbase (Montreal/Mexico), Projet commun (Montreal), and Salon Art Club (Montreal), galleries that have been selected for their unique approach and vision.
It is also worth noting that the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries is proud to once again partner with the famous spokesperson of Plural, Karine Vanassé, in the context of this new exhibition. This art and culture enthusiast, Canadian actress and host of the show Les traîtres, has been promoting contemporary art at Plural for 10 years now.
“Contemporary art in Canada is abundant, varied, touching. The range of emotions one can experience by navigating through all the works of established or emerging artists is limitless. Having access to all of this, and even more, in one place, is a chance, a true window to the world of art,” says Karine.
