Astronomy is in François Boucher’s blood for a very long time. The enthusiast actively participates in the activities of the Charlevoix Astronomy Club.
“I’ve gone through five telescopes in the past two years,” he adds with a laugh.
He is one of the followers who gathered last night at La Malbaie’s harbor park. Launched by Hugues Lacombe, this summer event aims to educate the curious about this fascinating science.
“It’s about bringing together people who are interested in the universe we live in,” explains the president of the Charlevoix Astronomy Club.
“We came from Longueuil, and I searched on the internet for activities in the area. I discovered starry nights,” said an astronomy novice.
However, there haven’t been many evenings held this summer.
