Delayed by four months due to the Hollywood actors and writers’ strike, the Emmy Awards will finally take place on Monday. The final season of “Succession,” aired on HBO, is the heavy favorite in the drama categories.
Here are five things to watch for in this TV equivalent of the Oscars:
“Succession” domination
The series “Succession” follows the internal struggles within the wealthy Roy family, a dynasty in control of a powerful media empire. With 27 nominations, it is the strong favorite, particularly for the award for best drama series, which it has already won twice.
