I was dropped and when I came back, I tried to help the team. The attack with Mathieu van der Poel? It was strange! It wasn’t really an attack from my part. Mathieu was leading, he was riding for Jasper Philipsen, and he approached the descent really fast! I was the only one from the team behind him, and we found ourselves in the peloton. But it was useless, the leading group still had a two-minute advantage. But it allowed me to approach the last climb at my own pace and help my teammates in the final.“
